1. Mount Kailash (19,500 ft)

Come June 22nd and the pilgrims will be allowed to cover their parikrama of Mount Kailash in just 2 and a half days. This against a 12-day trek that courses through precipitous terrains at heights stretching beyond 19,500 feet!

2. Annapurna Base Camp (26545 ft)


The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is perhaps the most sought-after one in the world. An easy trek that originates from Pokhara (Nepal) lasts for about 11 days. Mark your calendar from September to November or December to February, and get hiking through these beauteous landscapes. 

3. Bara Bhangal Trek (15748 ft)P


Alternatively known as the ‘Shepherds Tail Trek’, this 12-day hike finds its origin in Manikaran (Kullu Valley). It’s a challenging trek that will take you through some of the most exhilarating topographies ever. The best time to go backpacking across Himachal is from June to October, which means you can start now!

4. Chopta Chandrashila (3925 ft)


A 4-day Trek, this one originates from Chopta (Uttarakhand), otherwise known as the ‘Switzerland of India’. The trail promises captivating scenes all throughout the months of September to November, and January to March.

5. Deotibba Hampta Pass (6725 ft)


The Deotibba Hampta Pass in Himachal Pradesh is open round the year except during Monsoons. This one is worth all the exercise if you love the wilderness that beautifully packs in Oak and Walnut Forests, Luxuriant Valleys and Towering Peaks. 


6. Goecha-la Trek (16,000 ft)


Open through April to June ! This Trek starts off from Sikkim and takes you on an 11-day adventure that is the Khanchendzonga Peak. Mesmerizing in every sense of the word, you’ll have to experience it to believe it.
